Valentine's Day Is Coming

With just two weeks to go, we are busy preparing for Valentine's Day. We have created some amazing florals for you to choose from, nothing less than you would expect from Seattle's premier studio florist. Our Valentine's Day florals begin at $75 for a mixed floral. All florals are made to order, so please call to place your order before coming in. Delivery options are listed below.

Dozen Rose Florals
Nothing is as romantic as our dozen rose arrangements. This year we have chosen three beautiful roses to offer: The rich deep red of Black Magic, golden yellow Gold Strike roses and the creamy pale pink of Quicksand. Our roses come in a 12" tall cone vase with a monstera leaf wrap, hydrangea, cymbidium orchids, aspidistra leaves and kalanchoe or fern curls. Red rose florals begin at $175 for one dozen $215 for 18 or $250 for two dozen. Yellow and pink begin are $160 for one dozen, $195 for 18 or $215 for two dozen.










Mixed Florals
If you don't want the traditional roses, these mixed florals are a great choice. They include red/yellow variegated parrot tulips or double yellow tulips, hydrangea, kalanchoe, cymbidium orchids, and aspidistra, in a modern white glass cube. Mixed florals begin at $75 for small (front) or $125 for a medium size floral (back).


Sexy Florals - SOLD OUT
This exotic combination is perfect for someone looking for something different than a traditional Valentine's floral. We have paired Pink Mink Proteas with berzillia, ti leaves, feathers and textural elements in a ribbon wrapped 5" glass cube. This exotic mix very long-lasting and sure to draw compliments and is perfect for men or women. Our Sexy Floral begins at $100 or $150 with red roses added.




Candy Pavé
We don't use carnations often because they get a bad wrap. When we do use them, you can be sure it will be something extraordinary. Our Candy Pavé includes 25 hot pink carnations all placed tightly together to look like one large flower accented with fern curls, cymbidium orchids and a cuff of berzillia. They are available in your choice of pale pink or chartreuse green ribbon wrapped vases. The green vase is suitable for men or women. This long-lasting floral is $85.







Orchid Plants
We have selected the best orchids for Valentine's Day. Orchids are a long lasting way to make a statement of your love. Beautiful phaelenopsis orchids begin at $75. Intriguing Spider orchids begin at $50.

Hand-Tied Florals
For our walk-in customers, we are offering simple hand-tied florals of tulips or roses beginning at $40. Since they do not include a vase, hand-ties are available for in-store pick up only.

Delivery
We have the largest delivery area of any Seattle florist. Our couriers can deliver from Everett to Olympia and Bremerton to Issaquah. Please order the day prior for delivery. Our delivery drivers will personally deliver all of the orders within the downtown, Madison Park and Capitol Hill areas. Valentine's Day deliveries begin at $12 for the center of Seattle, $14 for the rest of Seattle, $17 to the Eastside, and $20 for areas further out. Courier delivery to other areas begins at $27. Timed deliveries on Valentine's Day can be arranged for approximately twice the standard delivery fee as these will need to go by cab.

Out of Town Delivery

A Grand Affair

We created these towering centerpieces for a wedding reception at Seattle's landmark Fairmont Olympic Hotel. The ornate Spanish Ballroom is two stories high and these extra tall florals fit right in. They contain hydrangeas in a variety of colors, roses, dahlias, sedum, hanging pepper berry and tree ivy. The tables were lavishly tablescaped with fruit, flowers, kiwi vine and Italian ruscus. In a large room, having centerpieces in a variety of heights creates more visual interest so we created two lower styles as well. This one has similar elements to the tall centerpieces. The third centerpiece features surgared fruit as an element. A mixture of flowers are in three mint julep cups surround the floral creating a feeling of overflowing abundance.

A Birthday Party For A Special Client

We wanted to do something fun for one of our favorite client's birthday party. Her husband had called and asked us to decorate the table at the Szmania's restaurant Magnolia where they were having a luncheon to celebrate with friends.
We wanted to play off all of the color at Szmania's so we placed manicured wheat grass in glass cubes and studded them with miniature and standard gerbera daisies in bright colors. They were set in clusters down the center of the table to create a miniature garden. She loved them and the guests received a nice gift to take home to remember the occasion.

An All-White Wedding

For this wedding at Seattle's St. Marks Cathedral, the bride wanted a very classic feeling to match the setting. She chose a palette of all-white flowers accented with green. Her bouquet consists of Vendela roses, white miniature calla lilies, green hydrangea, and Queen Anne's lace.
The bridesmaids also carried smaller versions of the bride's bouquet, accented with green hypericum.





The all-white theme carried to the reception at the famed Broadmoor Golf Club. We filled our silver urns with hydrangeas, Vendela roses, dahlias, green hypericum, millet and Queen Anne's lace.


















We lined the head table with balls of flowers on silver pedestals. The balls we made of Vendela roses, baby's breath or white buttons with hypericum. We don't often use baby's breath, but it works well here when used as the only flower in an arrangement.

This view shows how the entire look came together with linens to match the bridesmaid's dresses. The silver urns were a perfect match for the formal decor of the room.

Tabletop Water Gardens

We don't often uses irises, choosing instead longer lasting flowers for our arrangements. When a local synagogue asked us to create centerpieces for their annual gala fundraiser at Russell Dean Lowell Catering's Lake Union location, we thought these flowers, often found in water gardens, were the perfect choice.
We paired them with galax leaves, equisitum, ming fern and river rocks in a low ceramic vase to create a water garden effect. We sprinkled more of the rocks on the table to complement the look.
