Mother's Day 2011

Mother's Day is coming up on May 8. We've assembled a beautiful collection of flowers including lilac, hydrangeas, orchids, roses and tulips to create mixed florals beginning at $55.  In addition, we've created a beautiful collection of floral arrangements to help you honor your mother. Our sister store Lavender & Vine Florists also offers a collection of beautiful arrangements for Mother's Day.

Delivery
We will be open Saturday, May 7 to deliver flowers that express the perfect sentiment to your mother. In addition to Seattle, our local delivery area extends from Edmonds to Burien and east to Woodinville, Kirkland, Bellevue, Mercer Island and Issaquah. On Friday, May 6 we can extend our delivery area from Everett to Tacoma and Olympia and west to Bremerton via a courier service. We can accommodate orders for this extended delivery area that are placed by May 5.

Mother's Day Classic

We've wrapped a cylinder vase with seafoam green sequined fabric and filled it with hydrangea, lilac, Dolce Vita roses, Mokara orchids, Dusty Miller and mint.  We love the way the Dusty Miller echoes the shape of the cutouts in the fabric.  Our Mother's Day Classic floral is available from $100 to $135.

Mother's Day Deluxe

Our Mother's Day Deluxe floral features Versilia roses, hydrangeas, cymbidium orchids, stock, Queen Anne's Lace, and scented geranium in a fabric wrapped and lace trimmed vase.  This beautiful fabric reminds us of Mom's old suits.  Our Mother's Day Deluxe floral is available from $120 and up.

Orchid Plants

We have a beautiful collection of phaelenopsis orchid plants available in purple or white. Potted orchids begin at $80 for a single plant, $100 for an orchid with green plants and $135 for two orchid plants potted together. To learn more about ordering orchids see our earlier post.

Floral Design Classes

Our floral design classes are a fun way to learn new skills and tricks of the trade for the creative mom on your list. At the end of the evening, she will get to take home a floral creation valued at $125 that she have made and a gift bag with all of the tools she will need to create beautiful florals at home. Gift certificates are available for our classes which are offered several times a year. Classes are $150 including tax.

Administrative Professional's Day

Wednesday, April 27th is Administrative Professional's Day. Honor your assistant or secretary with a beautiful floral from Fiori Floral Design. We've got a beautiful palette of blues, purples and greens this week to help you express your appreciation. We are showing off this palette in a beautiful chartreuse urn that can double as a planter when the flowers are through.

Valentine's Day 2011 - Vixen and Classes

These beautiful roses have us all hot and bothered. What to do but pair them the perfect complementary vase? Cherry Brandy roses have a striking hot pink outer edge that fades to yellow towards the center. It is also one of the largest roses available. We think they will have you hot and bothered too.

This fuchsia, frosted glass cube contains a stunning combination of Cherry Brandy roses, hot pink Sweet William, cymbidium orchids, seeded eucalyptus, ming fern and ti leaves. We also offer this floral with Orange Milva roses, a fiery orange rose with just a hint of hot pink. Approximate dimensions: 10" by 10".

Does your sweetheart love flowers? Our floral design classes are a great way to learn insider tricks and techniques for floral design. Designed to give the beginner a head start in floral design and to polish the skills of an experienced floral designer, our classes are informative and a lot of fun. Give them a gift certificate for a class and they can pick a class that fits their schedule. Classes are $150. At the end of the evening the students take home a floral design with a value of $125 that they have created and a gift bag with tools to use at home. Learn more about our classes here.

Valentine's Day 2011 - Sweet Love

We've created this tropical inspired floral for you. Cymbidium orchids are a symbol of love, beauty and refinement in Asia and we've captured their special appeal in one extraordinary design.

This floral combines our beautiful Black Bacarra roses with five exquisite orchids, berzillia, ming fern and flax leaves in a modern green ceramic vase. Approximately 12"w x 7"d x 12"h.
