Mother's Day 2010

Mother's Day is coming up on May 9. We've created a beautiful collection of floral arrangements to help you honor your mother. In addition to mixed florals beginning at $55, may we also suggest these gift ideas? Delivery

We will be open Saturday, May 8 to deliver flowers that express the perfect sentiment to your mother. In addition to Seattle, our local delivery area extends from Edmonds to Burien and east to Woodinville, Kirkland, Bellevue, Mercer Island and Issaquah. On Friday, May 7 we can extend our delivery area from Everett to Tacoma and Olympia and west to Bremerton via a courier service. We can accommodate orders for this extended delivery area that are placed by May 6.

Thanks Mom

We've revisited this clean but beautiful dendrobium orchid arrangement, updating it with purple orchids. It's a simple way to tell your mother "Thanks."
Dendrobium orchids, lily grass and miniature aralia leaves are combined in a simple vase with a ribbon accent. $55 as shown. Smaller versions at $45 and larger versions for $70. Also available with white dendrobium orchids.

Classic Mom

This beautiful floral comes in a white ceramic vase that doubles as a pitcher when not holding flowers. We've filled it with peonies, spray roses, hydrangea and scented geranium leaves for a look that is as divine as the fragrance.
The smaller vase is $65 to $95. The larger vase is $100 and up.

Orchid Plants

We have a beautiful collection of phaelenopsis orchid plants available in purple or white. Potted orchids begin at $80 for a single plant, $100 for an orchid with green plants and $135 for two orchid plants potted together. To learn more about ordering orchids see our earlier post.

Floral Design Classes

Our floral design classes are a fun way to learn new skills and tricks of the trade for the creative mom on your list. At the end of the evening, she will get to take home a floral creation valued at $125 that she have made and a gift bag with all of the tools she will need to create beautiful florals at home. Gift certificates are available for our classes which are offered seven times a year. Classes are $150 including tax.
Upcoming classes are May 18 - Peonies and July 13 - Dahlias.

Flowers By The Month

The perfect gift for the mom who has everything, order an arrangement to be delivered to your mom once a month for as long as you like. Monthly deliveries begin at $55 each plus delivery. Order a minimum 6 months of $75 florals and receive free local delivery.

Administrative Professional's Week

Wednesday, April 21st is Administrative Professional's Day. Honor your assistant or secretary with a beautiful floral from Fiori Floral Design. We've got a beautiful palette of peaches, creams and greens this week to help you express your appreciation. To highlight this palette, we've selected these intriguing green vases.

Valentine's Day 2010 - Silver Love

We picked Black Bacarra and Amnesia roses to feature this year because we love the way they look together. The smokey lavender of the Amnesia roses is a perfect complement to the deep, satin-looking red of the Black Bacarra.

Silver Love Floral

We've enhanced the pair of roses with the silver gray of Dusty Miller, variegated leaves of Rex Begonia and tips from a Wandering Jew plant. All of this is beautifully encapsulated in a satin finished silver ceramic vase.

Delivery
We have the largest delivery area of any Seattle florist. Our couriers can deliver on Friday from Everett to Olympia and Bremerton to Issaquah and from Edmonds to Burien on Saturday and Sunday. Please order the day prior for delivery. Our delivery drivers will personally deliver all of the orders within the downtown, Madison Park and Capitol Hill areas as well as to Starbucks Corporate Office. Saturday and Sunday deliveries begin at $12 for the center of Seattle, $14 for the rest of Seattle, $17 to the Eastside, and $20 for areas further out. Courier delivery to other areas begins at $27. Timed deliveries on Valentine's Day can be arranged for approximately twice the standard delivery fee as these will need to go by cab.

Out of Town Delivery
Fiori Floral Design is a member of a prestigious network of fine florists throughout the world. Valentine's Day 2010 - Northwest Romance Floral

We love these natural birch bark cuffs. They are sustainably harvested locally. We introduced them last Valentine's Day and they were a big hit so we are reprising them this year.

Northwest Romance Floral

Peonies are normally not available until May, but we've made a special purchase so you can surprise your sweetheart with something unexpected. We've accented hydrangea with blackberries, maidenhair fern, scented geranium and a cymbidium orchid in these lush florals. We are offering these in two sizes $95 (shown) to $120 and larger florals from $125 and up.

Valentine's Day 2010 - Rose Florals

Our dozen rose floral arrangements are our signature floral. Each Valentine's Day, we take them a step further with more accents in beautiful combinations to make an already impressive floral spectacular. This year we've paired our roses with accents like agapanthus, scented geranium leaf, rex begonia and cymbidium orchids.

Our featured red rose this year is the dark and silky Black Baccara rose. This sultry rose is tops on our list for customers who want to express their love with something traditional but richer than most red roses.

If you are looking to send something a little different, look no further than our smokey lavender rose, Amnesia. This featured rose is bewitching in it's range of color and will have everyone saying "I've never seen a rose like that before!"

Our signature arrangement features roses, hydrangea, agapanthus, scented geranium leaf, and cymbidium orchids in a glass vased lined with aurelia leaves. Dozen rose florals come in a 12" glass rose cone vase; 18 or more in a 14" rose cone vase.
